Yeeeej…finally Friday again, so time to enjoy the weekend.

Oktoberfest

 

Vancouver Alpen Club offers a original and some would say most authentic celebration oft Oktoberfest in Vancouver. You’re able to get some real German food, German music, a lot of entertainment and of course German beer.The entrance fee is $30 and be prepared that you’re only able to purchase the tickets on Tuesday and Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm. Tickets are available for the next three weekends,every Friday and Saturday, in October. For further information click here.

Doors open Vancouver

On Saturday, October 4th, from 10 am to 5 pm the doors to the buildings that shape Vancouver are open. For example the Orpheum, which is home for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. 1927 it was the largest theatre in Canada. You’ll be also able to have a look into Vancouver City Hall.  During your visit to the home of Vancouver’s municipal government, have a look at Council Chambers and the Mayor’s ceremonial office. Water’s Edge Day

This Sunday there is the first celebration of Vancouver’s Waterfront. They’re offering free and fun activities, indoor and outdoor, on and off water. You’ll be able to go on a boat tour of English bay, to join a guided cycle tour around False Creek, paddle the shore in a Kayak and so much more. Grab you friends and come down to the shore of Vancouver. You’ll have also the opportunity to score great prizes. Join the event here.
