How was your weekend?

What a wonderful weekend! Hope everyone enjoyed the super nice and hot weather this weekend.

On Saturday I went to Squamish to hike the Sea to Sky Summit Trail, you should 20190720_122327.jpggo hiking there. On the way to the top you have wonderful places where you can take incredible pictures and where you are able to just enjoy the breathtaking view. The path leads you through the almost untouched forests and you even pass a waterfall with unbelievably clear water. The path stretches over 7.5 kilometres and you climb 885 metres of altitude. You can imagine what a feeling it is to arrive at the top and have the best view ever. Most people take the gondola down and when you see how high the mountain is you can hardly believe that you have hiked all this before.

On Sunday it was time to do something with our INTERNeX students. We did a picknick at the VanDusen Botanical Garden with a small group of people, but it was really fun to meet up with all the others and to talk about what was going on that week. We met at Waterfront Skytrain Station and took the Canada Line to King Edwards Station. From there it took us a 20-minute walk to the botanical garden. We searched a perfect little spot to sit down in the grass and enjoyed our food. After that we had a stroll around and looked at all the amazing flowers and plants.

It was such a nice Sunday!20190721_155913.jpg

The weekend has to end and now the week starts.

I wish you all a good start into the week and I hope to see you all at this week’s PUB NiGHT!!!

How was your weekend?

It’s Monday again which means that the weekend is already over. But since my weekend was so much fun, I would like to look back on it one more time with all of you guys! So if you want to know what I did this weekend than keep on reading!

My weekend started off on Friday when we decided to play a really fun game at the office called Zombies. When we were done with the game I met up with Roslyn to grab some food at The Pint before going to her and Linda’s Birthday Party in 131 Water.

Once we all arrived in the pub we played Card Against Humanity, which is always a lot of fun. After a couple drinks and some food we decided to continue our night at The Bourbon where we had some more drinks.

Since it was a long night on Friday I woke up pretty late on Saturday and watched some Netflix before it was time for me to get ready to grab some dinner and go to the Christmas Karaoke Trolley tour. Once I finished my sushi dinner we met up with all the other INTERNeX candidates at Canada Place where our tour started. We first visited Bright Nights at Stanley Park, drove past Hycroft Manor and St. Paul Hospital and finished our tour at the VanDusen Botenical garden.

On our way to all these amazing destinations we sang a lot of Christmas Songs like “All I Want For Christmas Is You” “ Last Christmas” “Let it Snow” and many more. The Christmas Lights at VanDusen and Stanley Park were really pretty and impressing. At VanDusen we all enjoyed a Hot Chocolate or Mulled Wine.

When the tour ended we decided to go to The Blarney Stone where a live band was playing some music and after a couple of drinks we went with some people to The Bourbon to proceed the party there.

On Sunday I slept in and visited David at Horseshoe Bay at night and after he was done with work we went to downtown to the Yale Saloon for a drink. It was a lot of fun since they had karaoke night there and you all know how much we love karaoke.

Thank you all for joining us for the Christmas Karaoke Trolley Tour and we hope to see you all at the next PuB NiGHT in The Charles Bar!
