Review: PuB Night @ Library Square

 Yesterday we had another PuB Night at the Library Square.

We were really lucky and it was still nice and warm when we got there, so we could sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. Even though we weren’t lucky with our waitress and our drinks and food took forever to come, we still had a great time and I can really recommend to go there on wednesdays, the beer they have on special is only $3 and their spicy wings don’t promise too much, they’re crazy spicy!

Its great that even some of our new members joint and we hope to see many more new faces in the next few weeks, you’re all more than welcome.

We’re really looking forward to our upcoming trip to the Rockies from tomorrow on and just want to remind everybody that we are going to meet at Canada Place at 12.15pm. Its right at the sign of “Fly over Canada” at the Cruise Ship Terminal. There will be a big green and white bus (Club ESL) with a tour guide in a green shirt in front of it, so you really can’t miss it.

PuB Night @ Library Square

Tomorrow its wednesday again, which means that we’re having another great PuB Night coming up!

We’ll meet at 7pm at the Library Square. For everybody who hasn’t been there yet, the Pub is really near to our office (300 W Georgia Street), so you can just get off the sky train at Stadium Chinatown and then either go on one of many busses or just walk the 5min walk to the Library Square. As many pubs they have wings night on wednesdays, so wings are only $6 and Phillips Draught Beers is only $5.20. Besides that they’re serving Nachos, Burgers& Sandwiches, Poutine (of course), soups&salads as well as Pizza and some really nice desserts, so I’m sure everybody will find something nice and tasty.

We hope that many of you want to join us for some nice food and a few drinks, especially since it will be Selina’s last PuB Night with INTERNeX. If you have any question about the upcoming Rockies trip, we can of course also answer them at our PuB Night.

Please remember that you have to be able to show 2 pieces of ID to be legally allowed to stay in this pub.

Review: PuB Night @ the dime

Yesterday we went for another PuB Night to “the dime”. Even though the dime is not right in the centre of downtown but at commercial drive, lots of people showed up and we were a nice large group.

The dime has this great offer where all their food is only $4.95 so nearly all of us had something to eat. Some even had not only one but a few dishes. Even though the price is cheap the portions are not small and everything tastes really good. On wednesdays they even offer  “25ct Wings”, so I had a bunch of wings with BBQ and honey garlic, which was awesome!

We had lots of fun together and talked about great things we want to do as soon as the weather gets better again and about our upcoming trips to Victoria and the Rockies. So lets cross our fingers that the next days are getting better again (the weather forecast says so!!) and that we can do lots of fun activities!

Next week we can go to a Pub and then and enjoy the Celebration of Lights firework together afterwards. Hope many of you want to join us for this. Check as well our upcoming trip to the Rockies out!!!

PuB NiGHT Announcement

It’s almost the middle of the week, time to come together have a nice chat with some food and drinks with your INTERNeX Family and a great opportunity to meet the new gang from Germany.

We choose this time for the Pint, which is located at 445 Abbott street, across the INTERNeX Office. The Pint is home to 40 different sauces and dry rubs to cover wings and ribs in. They also have 40+ HDTVs for all the games of the Canucks, Lions and Whitecaps.
The Pint has some pretty good deals if you want to go for a hungover Brunch on a weekend or holiday. The brunch is from 11am till 4pm for $10 and if you went to the Pint the day before to party and how your ‘last nights’ stamp you will get another 50% off.

INTERNeX Canada: PuB NiGHT Announcement

Tomorrow is a very special day for us! It’s Jelle’s last event. He will leave us next Thursday, to make a road trip around USA. So join us to say bye bye in one of our favourite places:  The Lamplighter Public House. Located in Gastown, it’s one of the best pubs in the area: cozy, enormous and the food is delicious.
