As our time as interns at INTERNeX comes to an end, Daniela and I, Selina, find ourselves swept up in a whirlwind of memories, learning experiences, and growth. These past six weeks have been nothing short of transformative, as we delved into the vibrant world of trip planning, social media management, and everything in between. As we want to say goodbye we can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had. 🌸💜
From the moment we stepped through the doors of INTERNeX, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. 🥰 It didn’t take long for us to feel like integral parts of the team. Our tasks were diverse and exciting, ranging from brainstorming trip itineraries to creating content on social media content that captured the essence of each adventure and will hopefully last as a beautiful memory for you guys as well. ☺️ 💚
One of the highlights of our practicum was undoubtedly the unforgettable trips that we had the opportunity to plan and experience. The breathtaking beauty of the Rocky Mountains left us in awe as we explored towering mountains, crystal-clear lakes, the beauty of the forests and some of the wildlife Canada has to offer. ⛰🏞 Every moment spent amidst nature was a reminder of the wonders that await those who dare to venture beyond their comfort zones. Another cherished memory is our visit to the enchanting island of Victoria. From strolling through the colourful streets of downtown to marvelling at the majestic beauty of the Fishermans Wharf park and the beacon hill park with an lovely ocean view, every corner of Victoria seemed to hold a new discovery. 🌞💛
Of course, our time in Vancouver, the vibrant city that served as the backdrop to our internship, was equally unforgettable. From exploring the bustling streets of gastown to savouring delicious cuisine from around the world in Chinatown, Vancouver captivated with its rich cultural tapestry and boundless opportunities for adventure. Not just that, some of our favourite spots in Vancouver ave probably been somewhere at the water to watch the sunset, whether it was at Kitsilano beach, Stanley Park or just at Waterfront while having some snacks. But what truly made our experience unforgettable were the incredible people we had the privilege of meeting along the way. Especially during the trips and pub nights we were able to get to know you guys and spend a great time together. 🧡
Thank you Tim and Talea for your help, support, and belief in our potential. As we set forth on our own individual paths, we carry with us the invaluable lessons and memories we’ve gained during our time at INTERNeX. 💛 Though our internship may be coming to an end, our journey is far from over. Armed with newfound skills, confidence, and a burning passion for exploration, we eagerly anticipate the adventures that lie ahead. 🙂
