What to do on the weekend?

The weekend is right around the corner and you still don’t have any plans? Let us help you out real quick. We’ve got you covered with a lineup of exciting activities that will make your weekend absolutely delightful. From sports events to culinary adventures and scenic explorations, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 😊

Attention sports enthusiasts!!! Our INTERNeX event on Saturday is special, since it’s gonna be the first BC Lions game of the season.🥳 They’re the oldest and most successful professional football club in British Columbia, so it’s a must see. For everyone who’s not that into sports, it’s still fun since there’s gonna be a pregame concert by 50 Cent ahhh. We’re excited about how our INTERNeXers will like it. Also as you might know, today started the European Championship. We watched the game Germany vs Scotland at Dublin Calling and it was greattttt. Don’t be sad if you couldn’t join us, it was just the start of it and you’ve got the opportunity to watch many other games. Even though your country may not be playing it’s still a nice atmosphere and fun experience to watch it with other people at a pub. Tomorrow at 12pm it’s Italy vs Albania and on Sunday it’s Serbia vs England. There’s nothing quite like the camaraderie of cheering with friends, especially on a rainy day in Vancouver, to boost your mood, right? 🤪

Unfortunately the rain won’t leave us till Sunday, but don’t worry. Saturday is all about indulging your taste buds at Granville Island. With a huge mix of culinary delights from around the world, it’s a foodie’s paradise. From Asian and Italian to Mexican and German cuisine, you’ll find it all here. The market is open from 9 AM to 8 PM, but a pro tip: some shops may already close earlier, so it’s best to arrive before 6 PM to fully explore the diverse offerings. Make sure to come hungry and prepare for a feast! 😋

As the weather should improve on Sunday in Vancouver, seize the opportunity to explore Queen Elizabeth Park and marvel at its stunning views of the city. Easily accessible via public transportation, the King Edward Station of the Canada Line is conveniently located nearby. Take advantage of the free tennis courts on a first-come, first-served basis, and get active amidst the lush greenery. It’s a fantastic way to soak in the beauty of Vancouver while enjoying some outdoor recreation. 😊

Whether you’re a sports enthusiast, a food lover, or a nature admirer, Vancouver has something special in store for you every day of the weekend. So pack your bags, gather your friends, and enjoy your weekend!
