It is Good Friday today, which means that you already started or are about to start your long Easter weekend. INTERNeX is going to spend their long weekend in the Rockies. If you decided to spend Easter in Vancouver and do not have any plans yet, you may find some inspiration in this blog.
There are several activities throughout the city from today till Monday. If you really want to experience Easter in Vancouver then you should go to one of the many egg hunts in the city. Many of them are even combined with extra activities such as the Egg hunting and Easter train in Stanley Park. When cars are more your thing, then go to the Easter Vintage Car Rally on Sunday. Over 90 vintage cars will gather at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, so a great event for a car fan. If you are more excited to go on rides, then the egg hunt and fun fair at Tsawwassen Mills mall is perfect for you!
However, there are also enough activities that are not Easter-related this weekend. You can try to find the lights of Spring Lights Illumination at Queen Elizabeth Park on Saturday. It is a free event that is part from the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival and starts from dusk. The event is weather dependent, which is also the reason why they moved it to this weekend. So do not forget to check their website before going to the event.
It is also the time for the Whistler World Ski & Snowboard Festival. This might be nice to check out if you are a into skiing or snowboarding. However, there are also other activities during this festival such as free concerts and the Fire & Ice show. The weather forecast of Sunday is good so far, so it might be nice to get outside for a hike or to rent a bike.
I hope you all have a great Easter weekend! See you on next PuB NiGHT!
